We specialize in Golden Retriever and Goldendoodle puppies available at our west Maryland home. As a fully licensed breeder in Maryland, every puppy is carefully bred and well socialized from birth. Our dogs are lovingly raised in a top of the line state-licensed kennel facility, and the comfort and overall health of our puppies is always our highest priority.

Both Goldendoodles and Golden Retrievers are noted for their sweet dispositions. They bond quickly, making them excellent, loyal companions for families with children.

Our puppies are raised with much love and socialization. We spend one-on-one time with them daily, raising them as our own until they go to their forever home.

About Us
While working at another kennel, Malinda and her son Jason fell in love with the Goldendoodle and Golden Retriever breeds. The rest is history!
Since it’s beginning by a single mom in 2022, Underwood Kennels is proud to continue the legacy of healthy, happy, family pets. Located on a small farm near Oakland, MD, we raise our beloved Goldens alongside squirrels, deer, and the occasional turkey.
Our puppies get to run and explore the place every day, and are well socialized with other pets, children, and the great outdoors. They love to snuggle and find great enjoyment exploring our beautiful country acres.

About Our Dogs
Our Goldendoodles, a crossbreed between Golden Retrievers and Poodles, combine the intelligence and trainability of the Poodle with the friendly and gentle nature of the Golden Retriever. The result? A dog that is not only highly intelligent but also incredibly affectionate and well-behaved.

Yes you may! We are available by appointment only from 10AM to 3PM on Monday, and 9AM to 5PM Tues-Sat. We are closed on Sunday. Please Contact Us to set your appointment!

Typically, Golden Retrievers will grow to be somewhere in between 55-75 lbs.
Goldendoodle sizes vary somewhat, but they are classed as follows:
A) Mini Size: Between 18-25 lb.
B) Medium Size: Between 30-45 lb.
C) Standard Size: Between 55-75 lb.
To adopt a puppy from our available puppies or upcoming litters, you can email or call us here. If you're approved as a good home for one our puppies, you may place a deposit to get in line for choosing or to reserve a puppy. Pickup/delivery will be scheduled once the puppy is a minimum of 8 weeks old.
By law, we are required to keep them until they are fully weaned, or until at least eight weeks old. This means they have received most of their vaccinations and helps ensure they are strong and healthy for the adjustment to their new families! We’ll be in touch to schedule pickup details after you’ve placed a deposit.
Yes we do! We offer local, in-person delivery to clients within 200 miles of Oakland MD. Contact us for a price quote.

Yes! At 6 weeks, they will receive their first parvo vaccination, and at 8 weeks they receive a five-way booster shot. The full health records, with all the veterinary notes and vaccination labels are included with every puppy.
